B...Nice poem. Our dandelions are in bloom, too. :)

But I like them. Then again, we've never been "lawn people." Our kids and their friends always played in our yard, and we were glad they did. We didn't mind the bald spots marking the corners of their baseball diamond, or the ruts from their motor bikes, and we SURE didn't care about having a lush lawn. (Still don't!)If it's green, that's close enough for us. The dandelions, violets, buttercups, wild onions and other blooming "weeds" just add a touch of color.

My favorite story about dandelions? When a mother and her young daughter spotted a large patch of them in the yard, the mother said, "Oh no! Look at all those weeds!" to which the little girl replied, "Oh, wow! Look at all those wishes!"Susan Flett Swiderskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09425315552148200073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2379826084010321238.post-69715963663716282702016-02-10T06:40:05.639-06:002016-02-10T06:40:05.639-06:00the puff ball is the dangerous part, spreading mor...the puff ball is the dangerous part, spreading more "smiles" all over the yardJoannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11604494404874408870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2379826084010321238.post-66443529975901314332016-02-09T11:14:16.714-06:002016-02-09T11:14:16.714-06:00Hi Joanne - I'm sure I've seen dandelions ...Hi Joanne - I'm sure I've seen dandelions too - but then we are just wet. They are a cheerful weed. :)Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03865193802444007545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2379826084010321238.post-36712689926532550292016-02-08T11:27:58.128-06:002016-02-08T11:27:58.128-06:00we are very good at growing them (not on purpose)we are very good at growing them (not on purpose)Joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11604494404874408870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2379826084010321238.post-34321973545118287472016-02-08T10:15:08.934-06:002016-02-08T10:15:08.934-06:00It's always the dandelions, isn't it?It's always the dandelions, isn't it?Alex J.
