Enjoy your weekend and (in theory) the last vestige of summer
No fly...No foul...stay home and be labor-less. Have a relaxing weekend and last vestige of summer.
ReplyDeleteactually we are driving to san Saba to visit Ray's aunt. Should be fun and no screaming (unless I see a rattlesnake) Have a good one
DeleteThere's always a screaming child, isn't there?
ReplyDeletethe child just manifests what we all feel. Oh well. Have a good weekend
DeleteGood poem, but I do believe we'll pass on getting on a plane... not this weekend, probably not ever. It just isn't as fun as it used to be. Or as classy, and you KNOW how "classy" I am...
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, kiddo. No screaming allowed.
thanks. It's not fun to fly but it's still a good way to crisscross the country or ocean. The problem with driving in Tx - it takes too long to get out of this huge state!
DeleteStay classy!
I enjoyed your poem. You captured air travel perfectly! Hope you have a nice Labor Day weekend!
ReplyDeletethanks. It's been very nice so far. Hope all is well in your world.
DeleteYou've made me SO glad that I'm not flying anywhere this weekend (or any time soon). "Inner scream" = astutely accurate.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, Joanne, with no need for inner screaming.
