Majestic Monday Moment

Here's your Monday moment - Ray captured this shot of the lion over Labor Day Weekend. We visited the Fort Worth Zoo.  The lion was perched high, very attentive. The view - across the way was the zebras and she kept her eye on the baby zebra. In her brain, "when's lunch?"  Ah, nature.

On another Monday moment - 9/11 - today we remember. I shall never forget.

Peace

  4. I always feel a bit guilty when visiting zoos; although I love animals. Then I remember that the animals usually live much longer in captivity. London Zoo, in Regents Park, specialises in species-protection research.

    1. I understand but the zoo shows their conservation programs and promote animal health. Plus I do think if kids see live animals, they will have more empathy vs just seeing a picture

Ray and I were in NYC Sept 1 in 2001. We left and then 9/11 happened. Quite a close call
