Simply beautiful Joanne, such a joy.Yvonne.
and you folks across the pond know how to grow these things
Those are beautiful! We have a red one that's in bloom now, and there are others in our neighborhood that are the same color as the ones your dad has.
gotta love the Northeast and Midwest - you have to live through some winter cold to earn these colors
Wow exactly ... the rhododendrons are magnificent ... lovely - cheers Hilary
thanks. Are you seeing any in Canada?? One would think - yes...
Those are beautiful! She must've given them a big dose of Miracle Grow!

Sure quite the bloom indeed. One can write while floating in a pool, just very carefully.
I am not as skilled as you, obviously. Maybe I need someone to take dictation...yea - my cabana boy.
I love rhodies. They flourish in WA state and it's the state flower. I miss all the ones I had in my yard up there.
well - glad I could bring back a memory with these pics. It's a banner year
Wow! Those flowers are gorgeous. Our hydrangea bush is blooming like never before this year, too. Maybe because of all the rain we've had.Enjoy that pool! (And I'll enjoy the air conditioning...)
