Saturday update. I am getting ready to head out to the Bedford Arts Fest. My enthusiasm dwindled as storm clouds rolled in. Skies are ominous. Wind is howling. And there's a light drizzle. Oh boy.
A month ago, when I registered for the event, I flipped a coin and chose an outdoor table and chair. October is always so nice - cooler temps, a crispness, and blue skies. Oops.
I'm going to show up as part of my civic duty. Don't know if I'll unpack my car. No lightning at present.

In the UK we'd probably always choose an inside table if offered the choice! I hope the lightening held off, the drizzle alleviated and you had a long queue all day :-)
ReplyDeleteSuch is life! Hopefully the weather will hold out for you and the event will be worthwhile!
ReplyDeleteDo let us know if you survived the weather. Hope it went well in spite of it.
