Trying Friday

technical issues kept me from posting a picture today and even the message

We updated to Windows 10 and now it's not happy with my browser or some such thing

So, my  brilliant post will have to wait.  I've been a tad out of whack anyway with my trip back east, and then playing catch up at work. If's not one thing, it's another.

Instead - let's just say Happy Friday and Have a Great Weekend

  1. What browser are you trying to use? I wouldn't put it past Microsoft to make things difficult for you if you won't use Edge. Unless, of course, your browser is Edge, in which case it's just another example of Microsoft releasing lousy software too soon.

My experience with Windows 10 was so bad (my laptop would not come up after the upgrade, saying it was having disk trouble) I converted to Linux and have no intention of screwing with Windows again.

    1. we shall see what my IT guy says (i.e. my husband). We've had no other issues, so it could be me too. I am a computer idiot.

  2. Hi Joanne - take care and hope this all gets sorted out - sounds like John might have helped. I haven't put it on because I don't want my life to be messed up ... cheers Hilary

  3. I've heard many bad things about Windows 10. So, I'm just gonna wait around and use...you know, I don't know WHAT I have.
Oh. It's a MAC. Never mind.

  4. Bummer. I haven't upgraded to Windows 10, although I do have a "free copy on reserve" which I'm forever being reminded about whenever I fire up my laptop. With all the problems so many other people have had making the switch, I may just stay where I am. If it ain't broke, why fix it?

Oh, I bought a copy of "Spy" today, and we'll be watching it tomorrow night. Looking forward to it!

    Have a super weekend.

  6. I like the way Windows 10 looks, but it does make Chrome crash ALL THE TIME - sometimes 6-7 times in one session. Granted, my internet sessions can be very long, so perhaps I should just take it as a sign not to log on and to actually do some writing?

  7. I've got Windows 10 and am still trying to work the bugs out of it too. I kind of wish I hadn't switched to it. Hope you are having a great weekend!
