Ode to Winter

Gray matter

 depression
 chill permeates
toes to nose
shrouds

gloomy day

I dedicate this to all my blog friends enduring winter weather. This year in Texas, we are warm

and on that note - Happy Weekend everyone

  5. Hi Joanne - we've had much much worse .. but it's cold when we feel it. Lovely photo and poem .. the dried out wood .. shrouds of mist or clouds can depress us no end .. cheers Hilary

    1. well I'll be going much brighter next week. We had a very warm weekend and flowers galore at the local arboretum. Shake off the gloom

  6. At the moment it is wet and windy here in central England so all rather gloomy and it could be depressing but I am snuggled up warm and cosy typing this so actually feeling quite contented :) Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace
