Happy Thanksgiving

From our house to yours - Happy Thanksgiving weekend

Health and happiness.  Family joy and laughs
Sunshine, blue skies, and some leaves to rake (if I was in PA)
Cowboy football for Ray

I dedicate a turkey sandwich to my mother - she loved leftovers

I thank my sister - she's picking up my Dad, taking him to DE for her thanksgiving meal, and then driving him back. She'll stay overnight and Friday's her birthday - Happy Birthday, Lori - the "baby" of the family.

No need to comment on this post. I just hope everyone steps away from the computer, puts down the phone, and just hangs out.

I'll be back to regularly scheduled reviews, etc. next week.
Take care and be kind.

  2. Happy early birthday to your sister! I'm glad your dad will have a good place to spend the holiday with those he loves! I remember my mom making stuffing and getting the turkey ready to get in the oven by a certain time. Gone almost 10 years, would love to have 1 more Thanksgiving with her, as I would imagine you would with your mom.

May you have a wonderful Happy Thanksgiving! This is the 1st Thanksgiving in a few years I am looking forward to celebrating, though life still "sucks" but I'll hold on to hope :)

    1. Glad you are celebrating. Easier to smile than frown. My mom's been gone over 20 years. Sigh
