In between beach times, we did venture out for some history. Magnolia Plantation and Gardens proved to be lovely and interesting.
Greeted by a peacock
Maypole and flowers in one of the lush garden areas
I believe a cherub statue is a requirement
bird, bridge, and a bit of a boggy marsh area
Two tourists
Hi Joanne - two tourists ... good ones me thinks. An historical site for sure. Peacocks are 'dictatorial' my mother used to have them come into her garden down in Cornwall and eat everything possible in sight! Glad you enjoyed yourselves - fun to see - cheers
ReplyDeleteWe are at least tourists that follow rules, listen to docents, and clean up after ourselves.
DeletePeacocks just add some class to a joint. I like that your mother welcomed them.
Have a good weekend!
