Poem: One Flasher

One Flasher
by Joanne Faries

blows the circuit

start over again

meticulous doublecheck

finds offending unit

tweak, twist, sizzle

bulb strands designed

for joy bring angst

start over again

  1. I've read that angels and our departed can't see electricity, only flames. In that case, the lights (or lack thereof) are enjoyed only on the earthly plane. What fun. ;-)

  2. That sounds like my experience with Christmas lights. I'm always blowing fuses!
