Future Friday

Yes,this is a picture of a snow globe, but use your imagination. Now do you see a crystal ball?

What's ahead for your future?  Can't see that far ahead?  How about what's happening this weekend?
Okay...still no ideas....then what's for lunch?

Ponder that and more as you read quotes I found on the future.  Food for thought (until you decide on that lunch)

The future is a convenient place for dreams - Anatole France

The future remains uncertain and so it should, for it is the canvas upon which we paint our desires - Frank Herbert

I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past - Thomas Jefferson

Hit the future as hard as your money and brains will permit. Otherwise you will be out of date tomorrow - John Baptiste Yeon II

( I see pizza in my future)   Happy Weekend!

  1. Hi Joanne ... I have a future - this weekend ties things up ... next weekend cometh the change ... and then I shall move into finding out what the future holds ...

I see complete chaos for the next week ... and lots to do ... cheers Hilary

  2. I confess, I usually don't plan that far ahead. I do know my lunch is leftovers! And we're seeing a movie this afternoon.

  6. I'm going to have soup for lunch, but that is about as far into the future that I can see. :)

  7. I've been blindsided so bad by unforeseen things that I can barely look ahead to tomorrow much less any 'future'.

  9. What I thought was gonna be my future kinda ended up being my present. My brother was supposed to get here (from Texas) for a visit tomorrow morning... but he showed up this afternoon. :) So I see a few days of reminiscing in my near future, to be followed by the third (and I hope final) editing of my WIP.

  10. Great quotes all. And I love your sense of humour!

I'm addicted to nostalgia, so digging myself out of the past and burrowing into the present moment is as far as I'm willing to get into crystal gazing haha, am generally rubbish at predicting my future, but I do know what's for lunch and it's probably toast...

    Have a brilliant week!
