some seriously random moments for a Friday
First swan at Clark Gardens in Weatherford PA
second - shall we jump, dive, or just back away?
Dad, when he was upright and mobile - with me and Lori. It wasn't that long ago, and yet it seems light years. He was SO good at 80. Now approaching 87 and it's a tough hobble.
Me - back when I was an author with fresh production. Writing? Now? What's that?
Maybe, a muse will hit again
and finish with spring hope...... hope you folks are all well on a Friday
Just carry on!

"Freckles to Wrinkles" is such a cool title for a book. Hmmm, not sure where I'd fit in there... I have freckles AND wrinkles...
ReplyDeleteYou need to pick up you writing pen again, kiddo. Even if it's only a few minutes a day.
Then again... blogging counts, right?
Have a super weekend.
thanks - blogging does count! I just type too much at work. Not a good excuse, but it's true. Lazy! Enjoy your weekend too
DeleteYeah, I know what you mean about the writing...
ReplyDeleteI've truly been a slug but I'm okay with myself
DeleteHi Joanne - love the idea Susan mentions 'Freckles to Wrinkles' ... and yes write on ... yet of course your Dad takes centre stage ... as well as your hubby and family ... but your memories/stories from this period will come through into wrinkly perkily happy tales ... take care - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeletethanks. Oh, there's probably a book on dad all by itself. All good
DeleteNever know when that muse shall strike again, have to write away.
ReplyDeleteor hang with you...you're the word cranking fool!
DeleteGreat randoms! Sorry to hear your dad is struggling more. My mom was pretty spry at 80 and at 91 she's definitely not.
ReplyDeletethanks. He still plugs along at his house. He eats fine and plays bridge.
DeleteI know what you mean - both my parents are housebound now. Hard for all concerned.
ReplyDeleteThe book title is awesome! And so is that last photo!
thanks. Hope all is well in your world. Happy Mother's Day to you
DeleteI enjoyed seeing your photos. I'm sorry to hear of your father's decline. I watched both of my parents go through that. It's difficult when there's nothing you can do to make things better. I like the pretty pink signs of spring!
