Our gang enjoyed a yummy dinner courtesy of our hosts - Dave is a chef and he presented a wonderful chicken dish on a banana leaf. We also had veggies, corn on the cob, and more.
No we did not eat any mushrooms from the Sandhills Center. This is silly, but Cody represents a friend of ours, Terri, who passed. We let Cody have all kinds of adventures - ha!
Here's the gang awaiting our chef meal.
We ate well throughout our week. Yummy pizza, Italian at a restaurant, Pub food at an Irish pub - I enjoyed the fish and chips. We also prepared breakfasts to start our day - delicious pancakes that had apple and blueberries.
Plus the camaraderie made the food taste better.
Hi Joanne - happy camaraderie always makes the food taste extra special ... though it sounds like you had lots of yummy dishes ... and lots of fun - so pleased for you both - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteThis was gals trip only. Ray missed out on our tasty feasts. He had to fend for himself at home. And he survived.
DeleteTreats on vacation for sure. No pig pickin’ Sounds like more of a Ray thing.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you in such good company.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had so many better flavors to compensate for the adequate mile high key lime pie.
Cheers and keep savoring all the good stuff, Joanne.
Oh trust me. I don’t miss a meal!
