Hello, It's Me

 Hey - It's a Monday.  H is the letter.  I'm killing time.   Here I am at the Dallas Arboretum  in March. It was a gorgeous day and everyone looks good flanked by tulips.

 History - yikes - let's go to the way  past.  Here are the siblings surrounding my grandmother. Can't say what year. We are all quite young, but yes I'm am the oldest.  I beat my brother by five years, my sister by ten. Yowza

and another in the family living room. Nothing has changed.... except us. A lot older, maybe wiser, and yep - still Humble.

A to Z - Eye on Texas: H

Eye on Texas is 30 miles of west of San Antonio to visit H for Hondo Texas
It was established in 1881 thanks to the Southern Pacific Railroad.  I picked this town for its sign

Hondo seems like a regular suburb. The reason to live here is to be close to San Antonio which is way cool with the Riverwalk, the Alamo, and slurp worthy margaritas.

Thus, let's throw in another town  -

 647 people live in Happy Texas - the town without a frown.  Apparently it was named in the 1800s when some cowboys were happy to find water there. That's sorta the story of Texas - looking for that magic elixir to quench the thirst.

Let's see what catches my eye in the H category:
Males - Heathcliff (English) from the cliff near the heath. I can't do justice to Wuthering Heights, but it's a great name and I'm using it.

Heaton (English) from the town on high ground.  Sounds like money to me.
Hewett (French) the small intelligent one.  could have fun with this fellow as he sneaks through a mystery.

Ladies - Harlow (American) an impetuous woman. She's going to be strong and sassy
Haze - (American) one who is spontaneous. I see her on a motorcycle
Hye (Korean) a graceful woman.  She'll be a classy heroine

Any H names from you?  I have a good friend named Helen - not many kids named that these days. Will it come back?
