Thanksgiving Sunday - gorgeous day at Sundance Square in Fort Worth. I met a long time friend - Trish and her husband for brunch at Yolk.. Very tasty.
We do not have many pics of the two of us. So this a rare sighting together. Long time friends - we met poolside at Lincoln Green apartments - we were reading books!
Hello...it was fate!
Happy Wednesday many years later..........
Sounds like an awesome Thanksgiving with an old friend. Wish it had been as warm in Ann Arbor on Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteyou never know in Texas. The weather changes daily

DeleteGlad you got to get together.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Christmas is coming!
oh yes. Fort Worth decorations give me the spirit
DeleteHow awesome to connect with old friends. A longtime friend I met in '53 or '54 is coming to visit us in April. We were joined at the hip through most of school, but after my hubby and I moved away, we only kept in touch sporadically. She's a widow now, and she emailed that she woke up in the middle of the night with the very strong feeling that she had to go to Atlanta. Since I'm the only one she knows who lives here... should be fun. Weird thing is, I'd been dreaming about her a lot, so maybe the universe really wants us to get together. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is meant to be. And you'll pick up like old times, I have no doubt.
DeleteBook friends are the best! And I'm for any breakfast place called "Yolk!"
ReplyDeletec'mon down and we'll go there!
DeletePretty decorations! It's always nice to get together with an old friend. :-)
