Wildflower Wednesday

Last weekend - Ray and I headed to his aunt's in San Saba. On Friday, we had a jaunt to Fredericksburg.  Wildflowers galore - bluebonnets out the wazoo.  Thank you Lady Bird Johnson for your Texas beautification plan - the highways and byways were out of this world.

  1. So pretty! I've never seen bluebonnets in person, but I've seen some amazing pictures of them.

    1. they are really pretty and don't last long. They do a good job here of not mowing over them - big clumps along the highways. Plus fields of them. Sounds like you need to come to TX in the spring.
