Wordless Wednesday, Torrid Thursday, and Fried Friday

Almost officially summer, but our Texas thermometer is pushing 100. Whew! The crepe myrtle is in full glory, the flamingo signals summer fun, and the moss rose brightens my day.

Give me the splendid silent sun with all his beams full-dazzling - Walt Whitman  1865

Old Walt obviously did not sit and fry on my Texas patio.

  1. Yep, Texas Mother Nature pays no attention to dates when it comes to declaring 'It's NOW Summer'....when it's 100+...it's SUMMER. Pretty pics...love moss rose and that crepe myrtle is gorgeous!

  2. Looks like the heat is here to stay for a while but I do enjoy the three days of spring we get each year!

  3. I'm struggling with our British temperatures at the moment. I would just melt at 100!!

Happy weekend! Keep cool... if ya can. (Thank goodness for air conditioning!)
