ReplyDeleteThe cover is how I feel. Really. I am not close to the cane yet, but as I said in one of my poems, my father said he felt the same as always, until he looked in the mirror. I am not such a fan of the mirror these days, but the "mature" face in front of me was the one who wrote the Old Broad poems, so, there is something to be said for a few wrinkles and grey hairs.
