Friday filler. I've been up to PA and no doubt have gathered some new senior tales...time with my father is always a treasure. Meanwhile, here's some finally gems from our weekend in Oklahoma City. Fun times....action figure museum joy.
Cool statue on a corner
Ray in his element.......baseball
Great seats on the first base line
Have a super weekend everybody!
Hi Joanne - lucky you with those seats - no wonder Ray was smiling so broadly.ReplyDelete
Looking forward to more tales of your Dad and his senior life ... so many fun times and happy memories for the future ...
Dad was dad this time. Had a good visit. ThanksDelete
That trip to Oklahoma City sure had lots of fun things to see!ReplyDelete
Enjoy your time visiting your dad!
Having a great time in PA. Plenty of laughsDelete
Both look happy as can be. Ball and spidey for the wins.ReplyDelete
I love the spiderman picture. :) I hope you had a nice visit with your Dad. I'm not sure where in Texas you live, but I hope you're not in the path of the hurricane. Have a great weekend!ReplyDelete
Thanks. We are in upper middle, DFW area. Some rain but just remnants expected. Houston is in trouble. And yes, good visit with dad.Delete
Those are great seats! I loved going to see the Tacoma Rainiers, Seattle's AAA team and my boss had season tickets so great seats on the first base dugout.ReplyDelete
that's what's nice about the minor league parks. You can be up close for pretty cheapDelete
Good to know you enjoyed PA and your father is fine. Good seats you had there Joanne.ReplyDelete
yep - all good. ThanksDelete
Hi, Joanne! I hopped over from Pat's blog featuring you. Nice to meet you. Looks like you had a fun trip. I'm glad to hear that your DFW area was out of the worst path of Hurricane Harvey. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!ReplyDelete
thanks much. I appreciate the visit. Pat's a good guy. All fine here though a bit dreary. But I'm not complaining! Have a super weekendDelete
Love that action statue of baseball.ReplyDelete
Thanks. It was a neat ballpark with lots of good touchesDelete
Spiderman? And here, I was thinking you were more of a Superman kinda gal... :)ReplyDelete
I sure am glad you're not in the Houston area. My brother lives in Silsbee, and I have a feeling he's going to get a LOT of rain from this hurricane.
I really wanted Wonder Woman. We are getting some rain but not like Houston. So much damage. Horrible.Delete
Cool statue! Great to know you had a nice visit with your Dad.ReplyDelete
Terrible pics out of Houston, thankful my friends there are safe. Take care and stay dry.
Indeed bad time in south TX. And still raining there.Delete
