We are in triple digits through the weekend, so as I float in my pool I'm ready for cooler weather. Now I know these pictures are drastic, and no I don't want snow. But....it's the thought of goose bumps that just seem delightful. Freeze!
Work has been a bit tension filled this week. My part of the job has been okay. But there's some issues and just a touch of anxiety on dealing with customers. Fret!
Thus - heat, tension....I feel tired. I find after dinner I'm sorta reading, sorta watching TV, sorta outa sorts. Poor Ray. Yes, he puts up with me. Best to leave me alone. And I just putz my time away. Fritter!
I'll get my act together this weekend. Until then - Happy Friday
The way things are going in the world, it's kinda hard for anyone to avoid fretting and losing a bit of pep in their step. Throw in triple digit temperatures, and what little's left of oomph is bound to flag. Like it says on a mayo jar, "Keep cool, but don't freeze." Take care, kiddo. Float in your pool this weekend, and chill.
ReplyDeleteindeed, sometimes just writing the blog and putting it out there makes me feel better. It's now been a good weekend so far. Hope you are hanging in. Take care
DeleteThe only snowlike feature I've seen of late is my hair. Oh for the real thing. This week was unbearable with passing out either through stress or Epilepsy. Hopefully it will cool down soon.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend and keep well in that pool.
Yvonne.
Indeed. Hope you folks cool down and we do too. Yes, pool float has been great.
DeleteI completely understand your evenings - very similar to mine, I'm just hanging around, waiting for bedtime...
ReplyDeleteAttitude adjustment occurred by Sat morn and I'm good right now. We'll see after a Monday...ha!
DeleteHot summer here, for us...but today there is a storm lurking off the coast. It’s cloudy and damp and I just wrapped myself up in a shawl. Happy Saturday, Joanne.
ReplyDeleteA shawl? What's that? Oh yeah...I'll dig out an afghan in December. Hope you are well. Take good care and embrace a chill
DeleteHi Joanne - it was stupidly hot here ... thankfully it's eased up - though still warm I'm pleased to say. Funny to say it's cooled down, but not boiling any more - so comfortable. I can understand your Friday Fritter Fret though ... just enjoy that pool ... all the best - Hilary
ReplyDeleteI saw where you folks were super hot. At least we have tons of air conditioning, a pool, and sweet tea over ice. Stay cool my friend
DeleteThe heat sure can zap ones energy indeed
ReplyDeleteYou are laughing at those of us sweating. I know you are "cool".
DeleteI hope you've had a restful weekend Joanne, and feel less stressed now. The photos shocked me into thinking what, already?? and then made me smile. Wouldn't mind getting out of the heat myself, it's super draining where I am.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week - stay safe, well and stress free.
I think I always hit a snow pic session in August. Over 100F for a few days makes me nutso. Stay chill.......
