sunday

It's Sunday. One of favorite songs on the radio lately has been "Take Me to Church" sung by Hozier.

an excellent line that just strikes me is - She's a giggle at a funeral

I just love when you read or hear something that evokes emotion or an image or both..

Have a Super Sunday (yes, it's Super Bowl time). I'm ready for Katy Perry/Lenny Kravitz halftime

  1. That is an interesting song. It's been playing a lot on the radio here, too. Enjoy watching the football game!

  3. I haven't heard that song, so I'm listening to it right now. Oh, it's just hit the chorus, and yes, I have heard it... a lot actually :-) It is a good song.

  4. One of my absolute favourite lyrics comes from 80s Australian political band Midnight Oil. They have a song called Blue Sky Mining where they say "Because nothing's as precious as a hole in the ground."

  5. I didn't even watch Katy Perry. Hope you enjoyed the half-time show, Joanne.

That's a great description - giggle at a funeral. I relish the thought of giggling at a funeral.

    Have a great week.

  6. I'm not familiar with that song. I know what you mean, though, about how a song can trigger an image or memory. Hope you have a nice week!
