Tornadoes cut quite a swath through the Dallas area - ten touched down officially. Devastation everywhere and now a rainy Friday. That doesn't help clean up.
Fires rage in California.
And just reading the news (yes, we get a newspaper, and yes I support the press)...plenty of troubles in this world.
There's got to be a rainbow somewhere.
Take care everyone. Share a smile today. Help a neighbor. Be kind.
Easy to write. Harder to execute, but be a rainbow and shine.

YES! I love this. (You knew I would.) Sometimes, it's easy to forget that the sun will return and with it, a sunshine may fill the sky.
ReplyDeleteHere's to rainbows! have a wonderful weekend, dear lady.
thanks. Just reflecting on life and Ray's photo made a post
DeleteThere is always a rainbow of hope.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really amazing photo.
Thanks. And he was standing there unloading stuff in the rain, and then there was the rainbow.
DeleteLots of crap may come on due but the sun has to come back sometime, until it goes out in a billion years or ten.
ReplyDeleteI think we'll be gone by that time!
DeleteWhat a terrible time some of the US are experiencing. We have gales and rain but nothing to compare with tornados. Keep looking for that rainbow Joanne..... it's there.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
You and me both - we'll keep our chins up
DeleteSo sorry to see all the damage done by the tornadoes in Dallas. Beautiful rainbow photo. The rainbows are out there, but we need to keep looking for them.
ReplyDeleteI think your poems are often little rainbows -so keep 'em coming
DeleteHi Joanne - great post ... definitely raise a smile, and help anyone we can ... the world is struggling with its leaders, and its disasters striking all around ... thanks - am sure Ray enjoyed his rainbows! cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteand your posts often uncover plenty of smiles in this world - folks doing going. We'll keep smiling
DeleteI read the newspaper too, although I believe my delivery driver in in cahoots with our daily to wean me off of hard paper. He delivers late and I reach for my I-Pad where I can read the online version before I go to work. And yes, remember there are always rainbows...than goodness!
ReplyDeletethey keep raising the rates, but I like old fashioned paper - less flashing ads and stuff appearing in my way.
