DeleteLooks like you had a good time. But, baseball isn't suppose to be played in air conditioned spaces. I can understand the emotional attachment long term fans probably have for the old stadium. Maybe the new one won't be so modern that it doesn't have that personal feel to it. I've been in both new and old stadiums...blending of the two would be ideal.

baseball wasn't originated in TX, etc - so yeah, outdoor stadiums made sense. Baseball would never have been created here in the heat of 100 degrees!
DeleteI'm glad you had a good time, but I can't hack being out in the hot sunshine for that many hours any more. It's supposed to be 97 here tomorrow, and all the other forecast highs have been a few degrees lower than what we actually got, so who knows? All I know is I'm tired of all these record-breaking high temperatures. Nothing like a nice crisp 90+ degree fall day, eh?
