A new sculpture at a water feature - this was a nice find as we rounded a corner on our lovely Sunday stroll
Last Sunday, the Dallas arboretum hosted Artscape, a juried collection of seventy artist booths. What joy, what fun. And yes, we needed this little stainless steel hummingbird with his glistening green tummy.
He's now enjoying flight on our patio.
Hope you've had a good week and are ready for more adventures this weekend. What's in store? I'm ready to discover and/or bask in blue sky joy.
Of course you had to have him!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you understand
DeleteHooray for hummingbirds, steel or real! Had my first visitor for the season on Wednesday! I love them!
ReplyDeleteI fear we don't have anything else around to attract them and we started too late
DeleteMost enjoyable Joanne to brighten up Friday.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Yvonne.
Thanks. Had to have a touch of whimsy. Cheers!
DeleteHi Joanne - he's delightful ... gorgeous to see him regularly ... no wonder you were tempted. Both those extra males in the Arboretum are rather special aren't they - the colourful one is extra special. Happy May Day - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteextra spring fun. We've all needed some stuff to brighten our world. I like helping "starving" artists too. Happy May Day to you
DeleteStriking colors and a masked man to boot.
ReplyDeleteNice.
Weather looks as glorious there as it is here, Joanne. Keep enjoying, my friend.
thanks. We've had our ups and downs with storms but April showers bring May flowers. I'll be in the pool soon enough
DeleteSounds like fun- very pretty flowers! Tell Uncle Chris happy birthday for me! Hey- did you say pool? I got my swim suit washed and ready for a swimming weekend! Have a nice day!
ReplyDelete- Kyla
