Go to Jail or the Library - Morrin Centre, Quebec

Over 200 years ago, the Morrin Centre was built as Quebec's first prison. Now it houses a beautiful lending library.
Sinister jail cells below ground. Then chemistry labs upstairs when the building housed a college from 1868 to 1902. And finally, a Victorian library with masterpieces hailing from the 1500s.
This was a lovely pitstop on our grand tour of Quebec.

Worth a trip to jail...or enjoy the freedom of a library. The Morrin Centre, Quebec.
