My week in Philly with Dad was uneventful. No snow. However, we did have rain and then flash freezing. These are pictures I took from Dad's very ancient, non-insulated windows.
The sun burst through and the wind howled and conditions were not in the polar vortex range. Whew!
I hope you folks in the Midwest are hunkered down now. I'm sending warm thoughts your way.
Happy Wednesday!
Uneventful is good. Those are some awesome ice pictures.
ReplyDeletethanks. Just a lucky view at Dad's
DeleteLooks cold Joanne. Excellent pictures Joanne, So pleased your dad is and was ok.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
thanks. I got out of there in time. Much colder this week
DeleteYou can keep the ice at your Dad's indeed.
ReplyDeleteyep - not complaining in TX
DeleteHi Joanne - frost is amazing isn't it ... love seeing it - but am glad I'm not in it! Also good you had last week with your Dad ... and like you I wish all likely to be brushed with an arctic touch to be safe - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeletethanks. You folks have had your share of cold too..just not quite these crazy temps
DeleteThat's exactly how the ice looked on my windshield today. My daughter wanted to know why it looked like frozen flakes. I didn't have an answer. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteYou're supposed to be warmer in GA. This weather is nuts
DeleteWow. This is as goosebump inducing as it is beautiful. Stay warm and well supplied with hot cocoa, Joanne.
ReplyDeleteI'm good back in TX. My father can contend with colder PA weather. But he can pay his heat..we're lucky.
DeleteThis looks so amazing. Thanks for sharing!

thanks. It was quite fleeting - lucky of timing to get the pics
DeleteWhew! I'm glad these pics were taken in Philly. At first, I thought they were taken there in TX. (Yipes!)
ReplyDeleteNext time you go to Philly in the winter, you should try a little experiment. Blow some soap bubbles and photograph them. Gorgeous!
The ice can be pretty, but also dangerous. We enjoyed a wonderful, spring-like day today. Made it to 60 degrees today, which is amazing compared to the negative integers we had last week when you took these photos.
