Do not turn away, through cowardice, from despair. Go through it.
...Pass beyond. On the other side of the tunnel you will find light again.

Will we find a light?
Wednesday I'll be back with a movie review, and yes, my life moves on as do most of ours.
Yet, such sad senseless shootings chip away at the psyche. In one day there are millions and millions of acts of kindness. That's the big picture. But, one horrible act causes countless sorrows and sears into our souls.
What to say? What to do?

Sad that all it takes is one act and the focus stays on that forever while the good ones get very little coverage. Such things even happening are awful to begin with.
ReplyDeleteand I feel awful feeling so numb.
DeleteWords I can relate to Joanne. There has to be a light at the end of every tunnel.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
thanks. It's just so mind boggling
DeleteHi Joanne - it is just horrible ... and the why - we'll never know ... and the how can someone do these sorts of things ... but yes - what to say? I just feel for all the loved ones ... take care - Hilary
ReplyDeletethanks. It's hard to feel helpless in what's going on in this silly world
DeleteIt's horrible what happened! What those poor families must be going through!
ReplyDeletedifficult to fathom that it just keeps happening
DeleteIt is so horrifying, and it seems of late to be without end.
ReplyDeleteThese mass shooting have been happening so often, one has to wonder if that's becoming our new... normal? NO! I refuse to accept that. Something has to change. Something beyond the usual platitudes about "thoughts and prayers."
