Eye on Texas brings you the letter G with all guns blazing from Gun Barrel City Texas. ( I liked the name)

This is a young community with the motto "We shoot straight with you". It's southeast of Dallas and now has a population of 5000. The town emphasizes access to Cedar Creek Lake, so plan on zooming on a jet ski in the summer.

ReplyDeleteHi Joanne - Love the recipe - Cornbread is something we don't have often here in the UK .. but when I was in SA .. I really enjoyed having it on occasions - this sounds delicious.

Gun Barrel--great name for a town. The word "cornbread" caught me right there.
ReplyDeleteGun Barrel...sounds straight out of the Wild West with the 'straight shooting' motto. So saddle up your 'Jet Ski' and ride the waves! Love me some Cornbread Chili Casserole.
