A Wedding

 Attended a very fancy wedding reception at the Belo Mansion in Dallas.
The groom cake was dramatic
 The wedding cake was gorgeous
 Flower arrangements were spectacular
 Ray and I cleaned up nicely on a Saturday night
The groom is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy. A man in a uniform with a sword to cut the cake offers dashing drama.

Oh so young.......I wish them much happiness, laughter, and good health. They certainly kicked off their new life together in high style.

      just little puppies but they have good examples. Both sets of parents and all sets of grandparents were there - all long time marriages. Impressive

    Must have been fun. I've never been to such an elegant wedding. The groom looks dashing in all white, and the bride looks gorgeous. You are Ray are a charming couple too.

      this was the fanciest ever for me. Ray and I married wearing jeans and white shirts. That's our idea of formal - it's worked for 26 years

    I have a uniform like that. Except I don't look so young.
    I never had a sword, though.
    I was never allowed to have sharp instruments.

    Lovely cakes and flower arrangements! I've never seen a separate groom's cake before, and I love the nautical theme right down to the sword! Great picture of you and Ray, Joanne!
