This Pride Star stands outside the Arlington Museum of Art in Texas. I visited there yesterday and enjoyed a unique photo exhibit. However, the star caught my eye.
Seems appropriate as we reflect on Orlando
It's sad that I've had to write this before - words fail me

There aren't words.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joanne.
Hi Joanne - as Robyn says ... there are no words - it is utterly senseless and so so desperately sad. Hilary
ReplyDeleteThe sadness is so great. I have never understood the need to control how others live their lives. It makes no sense. Thank you.

Terrible tragedy. So many lives gone...
ReplyDeleteMy heart is broken. And did you see that another wack job was going to try and attack the gay pride parade in I think San Diego or LA? :(
ReplyDeleteUnfathomable.
ReplyDeleteI'm at a loss for words, as well.
ReplyDeleteAwful indeed, appropriate star for sure.
ReplyDeleteSo many young lives lost; reading their names as they release more victims' names; just so sad. Each one had family and friends that loved them and will mourn them for the rest of their lives.

thanks everyone for your comments. It's a bit like group therapy - at least we have our words.
ReplyDeleteYes, so sad. That star is very touching. I've had to turn off the news because it's just too tragic. The good news is, Trump's response has caused him to plummet in the polls, looks like. NOT surprisingly, people want a leader who shows compassion. (Not to get into politics--his comments about the tragedy have just really bothered me.)
