Crape myrtle are starting to pop
Happy pepper plant says 'bring it on"
I think the moss rose is a tad thirsty. Better get the watering can
Well, I couldn't be completely wordless today. Let's finish with a haiku
the creak of
my umbrella -
the heat
I wish we could grow peppers.
ReplyDeleteCool shot of the umbrella.
I believe in looking up. Always get a unique angle
DeleteLovely photos, Joanne. You captured some nice glimpses of summer. :)
ReplyDeleteIn TX summer is more of an assault than a glimpse
DeleteHA! I like your last comment about the TX summer being more of an assault than a glimpse. We're feeling kind of assaulted here, too. Seems like we've already had more 90+ degree days than we usually have in an entire summer. Thank God for air conditioning!
ReplyDeleteyep - air conditioning is one of the top inventions of the world
DeleteMy kids are complaining that our temps are reaching 70 degrees (looked up the conversion from celsius, the number means nothing to me!!). I expect that would be a cold spell for you!
ReplyDeleteOur mornings start out closer to 80 degrees......trust me, 70 would be wonderful.
DeleteOh summer heat is here! Try to enjoy it while it lasts. :)
ReplyDeleteWhen I came home today around 6 p.m. Temps dropped to the mid 50's. Maybe we can send a little breeze your way. Lovely pics, and a delightful haiku.
ReplyDeleteJulie
I loved Crepe Myrtle when I saw it in Georgia. Love your Haiku too.
