Hi Joanne - I love that 2nd image ... clear and concise ... just so sorry she has gone - I've noted a few things about her in recent months ... but need to learn more in due course.
Thanks for the appreciative visit over - good to see you ... and now take care and all that ... we're in for a rough ride in so many ways ...
Hey - sad she passed on Rosh Shoshana too - yet, I read that's extra blessings for her soul. Very appropriate. Take care. We shall persevere, my friend
She was inspirational! And a role model for women/girls everywhere, not just in the US. The last few months of 2020 are going to be crucial. All the best to you.
I am hard pressed to think of anyone, man or woman, who had such a profound influence, and the world is diminished by her passing. Many politicians would do well to ponder what dignity, morality and conscience really are by looking at the life of RBG and trying to emulate it.
Joanne Faries, originally from the Philadelphia area, lives in Texas with her husband Ray. She considers herself fortunate to be able to pursue a writing career after eons in the business world. Joanne enjoys reading and movies, and is the film critic for the Little Paper of San Saba.
Most thought provoking Joanne. Yes this year....and it's not over yet has not been good.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week and take care.
Yvonne.

Stay sane too - Hilary
She is quite the woman to study and watch the documentary RBG - her character shines through.

Sure wise words indeed
ReplyDeleteShe would have been a good person to have at a dinner table. Apparently a very thoughtful speaker but with wit and grace.
