Calm, clear day
We did not choose to rappel. We just looked up
Who stacked those up there?
Um, you go first.....
I love the variety of Texas State Parks. We've only hit a few and each one is different. This rocky path hike took an hour and was a challenge for my feet. Whew! We earned our Gatorade and lunch snack.
Hope your November is sunny and bright. Go explore some nooks and crannies.
I wish we had more parks near us. I miss mountain trails.
ReplyDeleteTX govt has a lot of faults. But the variety of terrain and parks is awesome. Well maintained and managed. Those tax $$ well spent.
DeleteHi Joanne - the parks do sound great - lovely opportunities to get out and about - especially now you're both retired ... whoo hoo ... happy days too - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteIndeed. We are trying to take advantage of our freedom. You would enjoy these parks. Quite different from your coastal world
DeleteThat sky looks a-mazing. So does the park! USA parks are so beautiful - many of them are on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteMake it to TX. We will lead the way and feed you well too.
DeleteI promise lovely scenery. Fall is excellent weather too
