The kids are playing "train"
Just cracked me up for a Friday. Hope it brings a smile to you. What will you "play" today?

My brother, sister, and I used to play train. Mom would move the chairs from the kitchen out to the living room floor whenever she mopped the floor. When she did that, we would play train with the chairs. :D Happy weekend to you, Joanne.
ReplyDeletetrains, planes, and automobiles. Sounds fun
DeleteHi Joanne - that's fun ... I think I'll just play weekend and relaxing ... you too have a good play time - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteplay weekend is the best time of all. Enjoy
DeleteThat's SO cute. Reminds me of all the crazy things we played when I was a kid.
ReplyDeletelike, I said, it made me laugh out loud
DeleteI think their train is about to hit a car...
ReplyDeletecan't you see the signal arms are down?
DeleteI remember my kids playing train :) Love kids' imagination :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to play that I will enjoy my day at work; after yesterday I can only hope it will be a better one today!
betty
Hope it does turn into a good day
DeleteImagination sure is grand. Their train may get derailed though by that van
ReplyDeleteThen they can switch to ambulance
DeleteOur kids sometimes played train when I lined the chairs up in the living room so I could scrub the kitchen floor. If the boys wouldn't play with her, our daughter (the youngest) would put stuffed animals in the other chairs.
ReplyDeleteIt's a toss-up. This weekend, I'm either gonna play writer or slug. :) Oh yeah, and go to a big car show, too.
Have super weekend.
Car shows are always fun. Enjoy
DeleteI used to do that but it was buses not trains. We need to remember how powerful the imagination of children can be and grab hold of some of that power even though we're grown up and 'sensible'.
ReplyDeleteyep - we have to soar, even if our feet are on the ground
DeleteSuch a cute pic! Wide smile.
ReplyDeleteI have played my turn, and would like to invite you for yours to mine :) do please stop by.
I shall be by shortly
DeleteVery cute and so nice to see that kids still use their imagination to play instead of sitting in front of the TV!. I had a friend whose father worked in clothing and he would come home with huge boxes that held clothes. When he was finished with them we would decorate them and then sit inside and pretend we were driving cars. Oh the good old days!
ReplyDeleteAnd there was nothing better than a fridge or appliance box- forts aplenty
DeleteBig, big smiles. And some lovely memories triggered too.
ReplyDeleteI don't think we play enough. Or make enough room for silliness.
As the weather cools down here I am looking forward to frosty mornings and trying to freeze soap bubbles. It is probably not going to get cold enough - but I will have fun trying. Lots of fun.
sounds like fun - go for it!!!
DeleteYes, way better than playing online games and playing on tablets. Great children!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by. Glad you got a kick out of it.
